How Safeguest and Guesty close the gap between booking and arrival
The riskiest part of a stay happens before anyone picks up a key. Here's how the connection removes it.

A booking confirming in Guesty is the moment the clock starts. You know a name, an email and a payout figure. What you don't know is who is actually turning up — and until recently, finding out meant a message thread, a screenshot of an ID and a lot of hope.
The Safeguest connection changes the order of events. As soon as the reservation is created in Guesty, Safeguest reaches out to the guest and runs biometric ID verification. Most guests finish in about three minutes, on their phone, without ever leaving the conversation they were already having with you.
Behind that, screening runs quietly: booking lead time, party size, proximity to the property, Safeguest history and a handful of other signals. The output is deliberately simple — red, yellow or green, plus a short written summary of why. No score out of a hundred to interpret at 11pm.
That outcome is written back to the Guesty reservation, which is the part hosts tend to care about most. Your team doesn't learn a new system. They see the same reservation they always did, with one more thing on it.
From there, Protect handles the money side. Activate it on the listings you choose and eligible stays carry discretionary damage support from that point on, with the ceiling tracking the Risk Status. Nothing needs to be added retrospectively, because nothing was left to do.
The net effect is boring in the best way: fewer surprises, fewer awkward messages, and a portfolio where the exceptions are visible before they become incidents.
